Road bridges carrying passengers and vehicles are required a routine inspection every year. Meeting these requirements often involves the use of specialized heavy machinery, such as an under-bridge inspection truck, to gain access.
The Bridge Repair Section is responsible for the design and plans preparation of bridge repair projects on state maintained bridges. Plans are developed by both in-house staff and consultant firms, which are under contract with the Department.
Bridge Inspection Truck is designed to help detect the performance and reliability of a bridge. Reasonable structure, simple operation, more safety design.
The new platform design has imporve much reliability and stability. Much safety for sending the operator into any location of the bridges. The new developed product with it’s own exported chassis and some OEM components, such as US POCLAIN amble motor, US KOHLAR emergency power supply, Germany “HAWE” Mutiple Valve, Italy “WOLFF” valve etc. greatly increase the service life, easy maintenance. Three hydraulic section with broader extension, rotary platform, luffing machanism together created a three-dimensional folding, much more suit for those flyovers, long-span, approach heavy duty bridges.

Imported VOLVO Chassis, with 450HP large engine power, Euro VI. Has more merits as: low oil consumption, environmental design, ensure high stability.
1. Air suspension system can adjust the chasis height automaticly, highly increase the stability for such a pot hole ground.
2. Hydrostatic drive, highly achieved secure in slope and wet road conditions.
3. Those hydraulic steering wheel system, greatly balance the widthness while operating.
4. Two sets of control system on platform either into the control box respectively, allows the operator monitor safety.
5. The hydraulic synchronous interlock device, intercom system, safty lock valve to ensure the safty handing.
6. US Kohler emergency power supply, able to achieve the folding reset, in case the engine doesn' attent well.
7. Max. platform payload is 800kg (can affordable 6-7 operators), the tail of the platform payload is about 250kg.
The extendable folding platform can be adjustable luffing from 2-4meter, greatly imporve the inspection area under the bridge.
8. High strength steel platform frame provide more stability which able to rotate 180°under the bridge, and also keep the limitation of max. drop height for 7meter only.
